Stacie Townsend

Stacie Townsend is the Founder and CEO of Pickler, a company dedicated to promoting the sport of pickleball. She started Pickler in August 2017, driven by her passion for the game and its community. Under her leadership, Pickler has grown significantly, reaching over 80,000 email subscribers and providing resources such as newsletters, blogs, podcasts, and instructional materials to help players improve their skills and connect with others in the pickleball community.12

Before founding Pickler, Townsend had a background in athletics, having played fastpitch softball at the collegiate and professional levels. This athletic experience contributed to her understanding and appreciation of sports, which she has translated into her work with Pickler. The company aims to foster a welcoming environment for players of all ages and skill levels, emphasizing the social and health benefits of pickleball.13

In addition to her role at Pickler, Townsend is also a shareholder in corporate and technology practice groups at Gunster, a law firm, indicating her diverse professional background.24
