Stacey B. Ornstein, M.Ed. is the founder of Allergic to Salad, a renowned youth-based culinary program that has been making a significant impact since its inception in 2007. With a Master of Education (MEd) from New York University, Stacey has dedicated herself to teaching cooking and promoting food- and nutrition-based initiatives among tens of thousands of youth and adults. Her innovative approach has seen the program expand to over 150 public and private school sites, community spaces, senior centers, libraries, and more across NYC. Leading a team of over 50 Food Educators, they reach over 10,000 students annually through weekly healthy culinary classes.
