Srimonti Dutta is a Ph.D. student with a background in Electrical Engineering, currently focusing on Solar Energy research.

She is an enthusiastic learner who thrives on exploring new technologies and has a keen interest in interdisciplinary areas and integration-based learning.

With a diverse educational background including a Ph.D. in Solar Energy, an MTech in Rural Technology, and a BTech in Electrical Engineering, Srimonti's expertise spans multiple domains.

Srimonti has been actively involved in various organizations and roles such as serving as IEEE Chairperson for Women in Engineering at IIT Guwahati, being a Research Intern at Polytechnique Montréal, and contributing as a Data Science Mentor for The Uplift Project.

Her professional journey includes experiences as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at IIT Guwahati, a Community Development Volunteer at EARTHDAY.ORG, and a Founder of Kla Sarthi Private Limited.

She has also enriched her skill set through roles like Editor at Hooghly Engineering and Technology College 176, Summer Intern at West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency, and Winter Intern at WBSETCL.
