Sridhar Swaminathan

Sridhar Swaminathan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science Engineering at Bennett University, India.

With a background including serving as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Bennett University and as a Research Officer at Multimedia University, Malaysia, Sridhar has extensive experience in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing research.

During his tenure at Multimedia University, he played a key role in developing a successful sentiment analysis and visualization tool for the Malay language for Telekom Malaysia, a telecommunications giant.

Sridhar's research interests span diverse areas such as Video Summarization, Personalized Multimedia Retrieval, Visual Saliency Detection, Object Detection and Tracking, and Sentiment Mining. He possesses a broad set of skills in programming and experimenting with various modalities of digital media, including visual, aural, and textual elements.

Currently, Sridhar is focused on Deep Neural Network Optimization and Feature Attribution, while also serving as a Project Manager for the Leading India Project, funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK under the Newton Bhabha Fund and led by Dr. Deepak Garg.

He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Bishop Heber College, Trichy, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from the same institution.
