Sreekumar Methil

Sreekumar Methil is an experienced storage professional with a background in quality engineering, specializing in NetApp and EMC products. With a strong working knowledge of SAN and NAS products in product development, quality, and deployment, he currently leads the implementation of next-gen software-defined storage solutions. Sreekumar possesses extensive knowledge in virtualization technologies such as VMWare and KVM.

He demonstrates a strong passion for customer engagement, managing engineering escalations, and providing valuable engineering insights for data center operations. Sreekumar takes on a proactive role in leading customer data gathering initiatives within engineering organizations, bridging the gap between engineering and sales/field teams. Additionally, he holds sound expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, along with proficiency in working with various Linux distributions (SLES, RHEL, CentOS) and host clusters like Microsoft MSCS.

Sreekumar Methil graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita School of Engineering and later pursued a Master's degree in Information System Management, majoring in Information Systems, from Carnegie Mellon University in December 2012. His career interests lie in Quality Engineering, Technical Consulting, and Product Management within the storage domain.
