Spencer Shewen

Spencer Shewen is an experienced Artistic Director and Festival Manager with a strong background in the events services industry, non-profit (NFP), and municipal sectors.

He is highly skilled in areas such as Talent Acquisition, Marketing, Liquor Licensing, Sales, Live Event Production, and Technical Production.

With a focus on Arts Management, Spencer studied Recording Arts Management at the Harris Institute.

Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Artistic Director, Festival Manager, and Media Relations at Riverfest Elora.

Spencer has also worked as the Community Services, Culture & Special Events Coordinator at the Township of Centre Wellington and as the Artistic Director and Event Manager at a variety of organizations including Waterstock, Dead Radio, and Music In The Red Brick Alley.

His experience extends to roles such as Outdoor & Parking Coordinator, Graphic Design at Canadian Dairy XPO, and Alcohol Services Coordinator at The Guelph Jazz Festival.
