Spencer Fry

Spencer Fry is the Founder and CEO of Podia, a platform designed to help creators sell online courses, digital downloads, and memberships. He has been in this role since September 2014, based in New York City. Fry's entrepreneurial journey began early; he co-founded several startups, including TypeFrag, a Voice Over IP service for gamers, and Carbonmade, a portfolio hosting platform. He also co-founded Uncover, a company he sold in 2016.123

Fry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Psychology from Yale University, which he attended from 2003 to 2006. His experience in the tech startup scene spans over 15 years, during which he has focused on creating user-friendly platforms that prioritize the needs of creators, emphasizing "creator friendliness" as a core principle of Podia.123
