Spencer Cox

Spencer Cox is the VP of Engineering at SensorUp with over 15 years of technical executive experience in data-driven cloud applications.

He excels in delivering data-driven products, creating opportunities, and leading software teams, having worked with leading NGOs, Fortune 500 companies, and large government departments in Canada and internationally.

Spencer's background includes serving as the former CTO of an Amazon Web Services Consulting Partner company, where he specialized in system design, team facilitation, architecture, and implementing cloud-native software.

His education includes a BSc in Earth Science from the University of Calgary.

Spencer has held various roles throughout his career such as Director of IoT Solutions at SensorUp Inc., Chief Technology Officer at Tesera Systems Inc., and Programmer/Trail Crew at Friends of Jasper National Park.
