Souvik Mitra is a seasoned senior operations and strategy leader with over two decades of experience in helping global companies identify opportunities for top-line and bottom-line growth. He possesses a wealth of expertise delivering value to clients across a diverse range of sectors, including Life Sciences, Hi-tech, Telecom, and Automobiles. Souvik has demonstrated success in providing strategic advisory services for Fortune 100 companies, having built a strong track record of running tighter ships, impacting the top line and employing effective organizational interventions to boost revenue.

With his multi-faceted skillset, including expertise in marketing, sales, customer support, business operations, and product development, coupled with outstanding analytics, storytelling, and consensus-building abilities, Souvik is well-suited to driving meaningful change. He has spearheaded efforts aimed at improving the financial health of various IT and Services organizations through designing interventions that either reduce cost or impact revenue.

Souvik's accomplishments are numerous, including key multi-million dollar revenue/top-line contribution initiatives at Akamai Technologies, including the Service Products Upsell and Customer Churn Management initiative. He has delivered cost-containment initiatives, such as restructuring free support, driving efficiency gains in managing customer case escalations, and de-provisioning churned customer capability, among others.

Prior to his role at Akamai Technologies, Souvik was a Senior Manager at Accenture, where he led industry agnostic global strategy, operations, and management consulting services. He worked on Digital enablement of business processes for Tata Motors, Digital strategy at AstraZeneca, Digital Asset Management capability for Nokia, and Campaign execution COE set up for UnitedHealth group. Souvik is also an experienced people manager, having built and nurtured high-performance teams, rallying delivery teams behind goals, and building consensus across stakeholder groups.

Souvik's educational background includes a Master of Computer Applications, Computer Science, from Visvesvaraya Technological University, a Higher Secondary in Science from Kendriya Vidyalaya and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics, Second Class, from Calcutta University, Kolkata. Today, Souvik is the Director at Akamai Technologies and a former Member of the India Leadership Team.
