SOUMEN SARKAR

Soumen Sarkar is a technical architect and technical product director with a background in Retail, Internet, and Telecommunication. He excels in software engineering, system architecture, technical people development, and product and program management.

His key characteristics include building high performance teams, designing good software and leading teams to do the same, solving problems for the long term, and understanding business needs to translate them into software solutions.

Soumen focuses on building AWS-based Cloud Delivery Platforms, scalable microservices using cluster schedulers, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. He has mentored others, holds three USPTO issued patents in cloud platform service, and emphasizes learning from mistakes.

He completed his MS in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology. Soumen has authored a book on Delivery Science for CRC Press and has held technical leading and management positions at various companies.

Currently, Soumen is actively seeking opportunities to develop technologies that align technical and people architecture with business priorities.
