Sougata Basu

Sougata Basu is a fintech entrepreneur known for developing the CashRich intelligent investment app in India.

Prior to his entrepreneurial venture, Sougata managed substantial investments for Tata Steel Group and ultra-high-net-worth portfolios at UBS in Boston.

He holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, MESRA, and completed a MS-MBA dual degree program at Boston University School of Management specializing in Finance and Information Systems.

Sougata has passed all three levels of the CFA exam conducted by the CFA Institute, USA.

During his career, he has worked in various financial roles, including as a Financial Analyst intern at Boston Financial & Equity Corporation and as Manager, Investor Relations at Tata Steel.

His expertise lies in managing investments and conducting training sessions on money management, fintech, and financial modeling in MS-Excel.

Sougata has also been involved in different organizations such as CashRich, Tata Steel, UBS, and Boston Financial & Equity Corporation.
