Soren Toft is the CEO of MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, where he leads the global cargo businesses, overseeing ocean liner and logistics operations.

With over 25 years of experience in the shipping industry, Soren Toft previously served as the Chief Operating Officer and a Member of the Executive Board at Maersk, holding various leadership roles in Europe and Asia.

Soren Toft brings a wealth of expertise to his role, having served as Chairman of several companies under the Maersk umbrella and as a Board Member at various organizations in the shipping industry.

Additionally, he has been actively involved in industry groups such as the World Shipping Council and has held significant leadership roles in Danish Shipping and Young Presidents Organisation (YPO).

Soren Toft's academic background includes an executive MBA from IMD (International Institute for Management Development) in Lausanne, Switzerland, complementing his extensive practical experience in the maritime sector.
