Sophie Vellacott

Sophie Vellacott is an accomplished professional with a background in Anthropology and Sociology. She pursued her education at Durham University, where she studied Anthropology, Sociology, and Anthropology. Sophie also attended Headington School for her studies.

Sophie has held various key roles in the education sector, showcasing her leadership and expertise. She currently serves as the Head of Primary at Ark Burlington Danes Academy. Prior to this role, she worked as the Education Support Lead at Education Partnerships Group under Ark South Africa. Sophie also held the position of Assistant Head Teacher at Ark Academy and has experience as a KS2 Phase Lead / Literacy Lead, KS1 Teacher, and Teacher at different institutions including Ark and Percy Shurmer Academy through Teach First.
