Sophie van Wersch

Sophie van Wersch is a Front-end React Developer currently employed at de Bijenkorf. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Humanities and Social Sciences and transitioned into programming after working as a remote Tech Blogger for SheCanCode and completing an intensive Full-Stack development course with the B. Start Up School Amsterdam and New York Design + Coding Academy. Sophie then ventured into a technical apprenticeship at IBM's Client Innovation Center in Amsterdam before working as a web and app developer, utilizing technologies like Vue.js, TypeScript, Angular, and Node.js. In November 2019, she joined Team Rockstars IT as a Front-end Web Developer before eventually landing her current role as a Junior Frontend React Developer at de Bijenkorf. Sophie boasts expertise in a variety of technologies ranging from HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript to advanced tools like React, Redux, and NoSQL databases. She is also a certified Scrum Master and is proficient in English and Dutch.
