Sophie Soons

Sophie Soons is a passionate individual with a strong educational background and diverse professional experience. She holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Precision and Microsystems Engineering from Delft University of Technology, where she also pursued a Minor in International Entrepreneurship & Development. Prior to her Master's, Sophie completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution, showcasing her dedication to the field. Her academic journey began at Stedelijk Gymnasium Breda, where she pursued a High School degree with a focus on N&T and N&G.

Sophie has been associated with various prominent organizations, holding a current position as an Integrator at ASML, a renowned technology company. Her previous roles include serving as an Industrialization Engineer & International Technical Trainee at ASML, gaining valuable industry experience. Additionally, she has worked as a Product Development Intern at Micronit Microtechnologies, further expanding her knowledge and skill set. Sophie's commitment to education is evident through her roles as a Teaching Assistant at TU Delft and her engagement as a Member of the Education Committee in Mechanical Engineering as well as Commissioner of Bachelor Education at Gezelschap Leeghwater, demonstrating her active involvement in enhancing academic experiences.
