She holds a Master of Education in Arts in Education from Harvard University Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Northwestern University.

Sophie Rich has held various roles in different organizations such as Boston Theater Company, Atrium School, educational theatre programs, Boston-area theaters, and Watertown Children's Theatre.

Her experience ranges from being an actress, education director, teaching artist, to youth director and teaching artist.

Throughout her career, Sophie has demonstrated a commitment to fostering inclusive, hands-on, and transformative learning experiences through theater.

She has also been involved in social media and website administration roles within the theater community.
