At Gilligallou Bird Inc., I had the following responsibilities:
- Optimize their website to improve customers' experience
- Write copy for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok with the intention of educating, entertaining, and creating sales
- Create visuals to pair with social media copy using Canva
- Pitch and write SEO optimized blog posts on a variety of different topics related to birds, with the intention of educating and creating sales
- Pitch and create weekly email newsletters that were used to inform customers and generate sales
- Schedule and maintain the social media, email marketing, and blog calendar
- Create sales campaigns
- Troubleshoot general issues with a variety of platforms, such as Shopify, MailChimp, Business Suite, Hootsuite, and Airtable

Creative Copywriter

As a public affair's intern, I primarily worked on the social media content for the War Museum's Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages. This included researching topics or individuals that fit with a certain theme the museum was promoting, drafting text that matched the museum's message and tone, and taking and finding pictures to illustrate the text.

As a technical writer, I had the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers and fellow writers to produce high-quality technical documentation for a variety of different systems and modules.
- Create technical documentation in a variety of formats and media for delivery to Trend Micro customers.
- Research and analyze source material (such as specifications, drawings, design briefs and engineering documents) and synthesize information into technical documentation.
- Conduct in-depth interviews with SMEs to properly understand products or procedures.
- Verify the accuracy of documents through hands-on operation of the relevant systems.
- Edit the work submitted by engineers and fellow writers for accuracy, grammar, and adherence to Trend Micro's style guide.
- Maintain the integrity of working documents and updating documentation with revisions as a result of a process or system change or an improvement ritual.
