Sophie Cheam

Sophie Cheam is a prominent figure in the field of industrial design, serving as the Founder and Industrial Designer at Hardwarefuel, a renowned global consultancy specializing in assisting startups in designing, engineering, and manufacturing consumer electronics within the health and wellness sector.

With a solid educational background, Sophie pursued her passion for Industrial Design by obtaining her MFA from the Academy of Art University. Additionally, she broadened her knowledge by studying Social Science, Psychology, and Anthropology at the University of Ottawa, as well as General Science.

Throughout her career, Sophie has held significant roles in various organizations, including being the Founder of Hardwarefuel, a Mentor at Techstars, an Industrial Designer & Strategist at Cocoon Cam, an intern in Industrial Design and Entrepreneurship at CRAVE Innovations, and an Industrial Designer at Wearless Tech Inc (Cocoon Cam).
