Sophia McCully

Sophia McCully is a professional with experience in policy and research roles. She previously worked as a Policy Officer at the British Pharmacological Society and The Academy of Medical Sciences. Currently, Sophia holds the position of Horizon Scanning and Foresight Manager at the Nuffield Council on Bioethics.45 Her areas of interest include evidence-based policy, genomics, assisted reproductive technologies, infertility, bioethics, and women's health.5
Sophia is also pursuing a PhD within the Centre for Reproduction Research, focusing on the lifestylisation, marketisation, and commercialisation of fertility.3 In her role at the British Pharmacological Society, she was involved in initiatives related to equality, diversity, and inclusion in pharmacology.12
