Sonali Salgado

Sonali Salgado is a City Council reporter at The Harvard Crimson, bringing in-depth coverage of local government affairs.

She graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School and a Master of Science (MS) in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.

Sonali gained valuable experience working at Bain & Company in various roles, including Consultant, Senior Associate Consultant, and Associate Consultant. She also interned at the City of Philadelphia, Root Capital, The People's Music School, New York City Economic Development Corporation, New York County District Attorney's Office, and the Office of the New York City Public Advocate Bill de Blasio, where she contributed to different projects and initiatives.

Her educational background, combined with her diverse professional experiences, has equipped Sonali with a solid foundation in economics, business consulting, data management, strategic planning, and policy analysis.
