Sonal Singhal

Sonal Singhal is an Economist with experience as a Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager in Government & Public Sector at EY, specializing in technology-enabled solutions, business architecture, project management, government consulting, and public policy across India, Africa, and Middle East.

She is currently involved with the Ministry of Education and EkStep Foundation, managing the DIKSHA Platform for Education content.

Her engagements extend to various projects such as data innovation with the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation and the World Bank, support for migrant workers in Uttar Pradesh with partners like Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, COVID-19 analytics for the Department of Health in Andhra Pradesh, and agriculture commodity pricing for the Department of Agriculture in Andhra Pradesh.

Sonal's technical expertise includes Power BI, Tableau, SAS VA, Python, R, Advanced Excel, SQL, and STATA.

She holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics from Kirori Mal College, and has participated in the UN Summer Academy on Sustainable Development and Multilateralism.

Her professional background includes roles at EY as Assistant Manager and Consultant, a position as a Delegate at Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations, wealth management at IDFC FIRST Bank, and various engagements in the field of economics and business analysis.

Sonal Singhal has a diverse educational background having studied Medical with Maths in school and progressing to specialization in Economics in her higher education.
