Solomon Choi is a seasoned entrepreneur, advisor, and investor with a diverse background in hospitality, restaurants, branding, franchising, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and restaurant technology.
In 2008, Solomon founded 16 Handles, the pioneering self-serve frozen yogurt shop in New York City, which under his leadership grew to become a market leader with over 40 locations globally before he sold the company in 2022.
In the same year, he co-founded Greeno Products, a provider of customized and off-the-shelf disposables like cups, lids, and cutlery for the foodservice industry.
Jabba Brands, another venture of Solomon, specializes in investing in and advising consumer goods startups, focusing on brand strategy, business development, and catering to millennial and Gen Z consumers.
Solomon is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience by engaging with students, entrepreneurs, and organizations, as well as mentoring startups in the consumer goods and food & beverage (F&B) sectors to help them achieve growth and establish themselves as top-tier brands in both domestic and international markets.
He pursued a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business and also undertook Beginner's Mandarin studies at Tsinghua University.
Throughout his career, Solomon has been associated with esteemed organizations in various capacities such as advisor, investor, CEO, co-founder, and strategic advisor, including roles at 16 Handles, Greeno Products LLC, Jabba Brands, Fourtop, Hooray Foods, and more.
