Sofie Boons is a talented jewellery designer with a passion for innovation and collaboration. Her unique approach to design is not limited to any one material or technique, resulting in a diverse and inspiring body of work. Boons holds a Bachelor's degree in Jewellery Design and Silversmithing from Artesis Hogeschool Antwerpen, a Master's degree in Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery from the Royal College of Art and a Master's degree in Jewellery Design and Silversmithing from Provinciale Hogeschool Limburg. She is also an Educational Consultant, Visiting Lecturer, and former Head of Academy at the British Academy of Jewellery. Boons' work has been recognized with various awards, including the VOKA innovation award and the Craft Council Research Fellowship.
