Sofia Tafich

Sofia Tafich is a dedicated recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a double major in Journalism and Rhetoric & Writing. She excels in crafting engaging and compelling stories that highlight the unique aspects of humanity. Sofia thoroughly enjoys the writing process, from brainstorming ideas to editing and revising, and also finds fulfillment in assisting others with their writing. Her passions lie in writing, arts, and culture, and she seeks to intertwine these interests whenever possible.

Sofia Tafich's educational background includes a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin. She also pursued studies at the American School Foundation of Monterrey and attended Summer @ Brown.

Professionally, Sofia has held various roles to hone her writing skills and contribute to different organizations. She served as a Reporting Apprentice at WhoWhatWhy, a Content Writer at Overlooked Beauty, LLC, a Web Content Writer within the Department of History at The University of Texas at Austin's College of Liberal Arts, and an Editorial Intern at The Austin Chronicle. Additionally, she has experience as a General Assignment & Social Media personnel at the International Symposium on Online Journalism (ISOJ) and as an Assistant Editor of Social Sciences at the Texas Undergraduate Research Journal.
