Having completed a wide range of education and training programs from prestigious institutions such as Erasmus Mundus, City University London, Aarhus Universitet, and Leiden University College The Hague, Sofia has honed the technical and theoretical aspects of journalism.

Sofia has worked for various organizations throughout her career, where she has gained valuable experience in news writing, editing, translating, social media management, and event organization. Notable places she's worked at include Forbes as Assistant Editor, PinkNews as a Senior News Reporter, Newsweek as a Staff Writer, and Newsweek Media Group, where she worked as a Breaking News Reporter for the International Business Times UK.
