Socrates Kaplanis

Socrates Kaplanis is a seasoned President with a proven track record in the renewables and environment sector. He boasts a wealth of expertise in Physics, Renewable Energy, Solar Thermal, Wind Energy, and Energy Policy. Kaplanis holds a PhD in Radiation Detectors Monte Carlo simulation and performance techniques from the prestigious University of Patra in Greece.

His educational background is extensive, having studied Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He further pursued his academic journey with a PhD specializing in Radiation Detectors Monte Carlo simulation and performance techniques at the University of Patra in Greece. Additionally, Kaplanis completed a Master's degree in Nuclear Reactor Engineering at Aston University in Birmingham, UK, and has been recognized with Honorary Professor and Doctor Honoris Causa titles at Transilavania University in Brasov, Romania.
