Snehashish Chattopadhyay

Snehashish Chattopadhyay is an accomplished leader in the field of engineering, with over 12 years of experience in planning, developing, implementing and maintaining a wide range of products. He has an extensive history of effective systems engineering in client/server/web/enterprise software, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced, competitive work environments. Currently, he serves as Director at Visa, Singapore, where he delivers reliable, scalable, and secure financial transaction processing services to Visa issuers and acquirers.

Snehashish has effectively collaborated with business partners to ensure delivery meets business requirements, driving innovation and managing major product development initiatives from concept to completion. He serves as the escalation point of contact for multiple critical applications and the development team of engineers during technical issues or crisis situations. He engages in hands-on design to ensure alignment of strategy, architecture, tools/methods with software engineers and architects to execute product roadmaps.

In his role, he works with a wide variety of stakeholders within the business and technology teams to drive change required to execute product roadmaps. Snehashish also coaches, guides and promotes the creation of high-quality, clearly documented, and compliant deliverables across engineering teams. He believes in cultivating an environment of continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.

Snehashish Chattopadhyay studied B.Tech, Information Technology at Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management and completed his education at Kendriya Vidyalaya. Prior to joining Visa, he held various positions in other organizations, including Manager, Staff Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer at Visa and Trainee Consultant at Westgate Technology Solution Pvt. Ltd.
