Chief Operating Officer

Led 20+ teammates in productive functions, developed through performance management. Utilized the warehouse management system, VBA Excel, and intuition to make effective data driven solutions to time-sensitive business needs. Made daily staffing plans to process up to 30,000 units a day. Introduced a process improvement in standardizing building-wide UPC placement, conducted live tests, analyzed, and presented data which showed an average gain in productivity of 8% in the fulfillment center.

The President of the Engineering Student Council actively advocates for students, attends legislative hearings at the Oregon Capitol, manages a team of 8 officers, and supports 60+ student organizations and leaders. This is done through community building events, leadership development opportunities, and a $120,000 funding pool to distribute fairly among the 60+ clubs according to their needs. This role requires constant communication and collaboration with industry partners, students, the internal executive board, faculty, staff and departments across the College of Engineering as well as across the University to ensure that the Engineering Student Council aligns with the mission and needs of the University. The focus of the position is to develop an inclusive community where students feel like they belong, have equal access to professional development opportunities, and thus allows them to succeed in all areas of their engineering academics and personal lives.

As Lead Intern, I have helped with the rebranding and launch of an all-new Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI). I support the office in a plethora of ways including transforming the physical space to be a safe and welcoming place for students to engage and collaborate. I manage CDI’s online presence which includes engaging students through a weekly informative newsletter, designing and updating the website, and managing social media marketing. I also plan and execute community building and professional development events which focus on providing unique opportunities for underrepresented students, as well as encouraging discourse around a social justice lens in engineering. I started three spotlight campaigns, which highlight students, faculty, and industry role models with intersectional and underrepresented identities who champion diversity & inclusion in engineering. In this role, I have had the opportunity to portray my skills as a self-motivated change-maker.

College of Engineering Ambassadors are representatives for the College of Engineering (COE), and are often the "first face" that prospective students and families will associate with the University. We are responsible for supporting the College in recruitment and diversification efforts by attending on- and off-campus recruitment events, participating in professional conferences, attending alumni events, providing tours to students and parents who visit campus, traveling to high schools throughout the state to make presentations, and communicating with prospective students.

College of Engineering Ambassador

The Engineering Student Council was created a few years ago to create a link between the Oregon State College of Engineering student clubs and resources to both the students and the College. The purpose of the Vice President of Events & Outreach is to plan events such as Club Fairs and networking opportunities for all College of Engineering students to promote a sense of community and culture between all engineering students regardless of their major, class standing, identity, and more. This position requires working with all of the 65+ student organizations sponsored by the College, various on-campus resources, along with the Dean's Office and the Office of Student Services.As VP of Events & Outreach, I began OSU's first official Engineer's Week celebration, which is now an annual tradition.

Students Workers in the Office of Student Services coordinate with the various College of Engineering programs including First-Year advising, Leadership Academy, and more. We assist in space management, inter-program communication, and responding to current and prospective student emails regarding a multitude of Engineering related topics.  We also assist in first-year Engineering students with their transition into their programs and life at Oregon State.
