Smaranda Tolosano is the Editorial Coordinator for Translations and Partnerships at the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN). She is a French-Romanian freelance journalist with extensive experience in various countries, including the U.S., France, Canada, and Morocco. Tolosano has notably covered significant topics such as the last days of the "Jungle" refugee camp in Calais and has investigated issues like government surveillance and women's rights in Morocco.1
