Sloane Yu

Department Chair, Interventional Pain Medicine Physician, and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Vancouver Clinic

Sloane Yu, MD/MBA is an accomplished executive with a strong background in healthcare management and clinical affairs. She obtained her MD/MBA in Healthcare Management at Tufts University School of Medicine and her MBA in Healthcare Management from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. Yu also holds a BS in Biology from Cornell University, where she graduated magna cum laude.

Yu has held several leadership positions throughout her career, including her current role as Executive Vice President of Clinical Affairs at Allied Pain & Spine Institute, where she oversees clinical operations, quality improvement, and patient safety. Prior to that, she was an Interventional Pain Management, Comprehensive Spine & Musculoskeletal Medicine Physician at the same institute.

Yu completed her Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, where she honed her skills in patient care and management. Before that, she co-founded and served as the COO of HubHaus, a startup that provided flexible, community-driven co-living spaces.

Yu's background also includes a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Stanford Health Care and a preliminary Internal Medicine Internship at Carney Hospital. She began her career as a Post-Baccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award Fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

In her current role, Yu has demonstrated expertise in healthcare management, clinical affairs, and patient care, and she is dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes for patients. Her strong leadership and communication skills make her a valuable member of any healthcare organization.
