Slava Turyshev

Slava Turyshev, also known as Vyacheslav Gennadievich Turyshev, is a prominent Russian physicist and the Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Main Point, Inc., a company he founded in 1994. He is currently a Senior Research Scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and an Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the Department of Physics and Astronomy.

Education and Career

Turyshev graduated from Moscow State University in 1987 with a degree in Quantum Field Theory and High Energy Physics. He earned his Ph.D. in Astrophysics and Theoretical Gravity Physics from the same university in 1990, followed by a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Gravitational Physics in 2008. In 2003, he completed an MBA at UCLA's Anderson School of Management.

His career began at Moscow State University, where he worked as a senior research fellow. In 1993, he joined NASA JPL, where he has been involved in various high-profile projects, including the study of the Pioneer anomaly and the development of the Solar Gravitational Lens mission concept aimed at imaging exoplanets with unprecedented detail.1234
