Skip Walter

Skip Walter is an accomplished entrepreneur, intrapreneur, and author with a wealth of experience spanning over 45 years.

He is the brains behind the Know Now line of browser-based software products at Factor10x, aimed at visual analytics across various data sources.

With a background in executive coaching, management, new venture mentoring, software engineering, product development, high-tech mergers, and acquisitions, Skip has been a key figure in the tech industry.

Notably, he played a pivotal role in developing ALL-IN-1, the $1 billion integrated enterprise office automation system at Digital Equipment Corporation.

As the founding CEO/CTO of Attenex, Skip led the company to achieve cash flow positivity within three years before it was acquired by FTI Consulting for $91M in 2008.

Skip Walter holds a BS in Psychology from Duke University.

Throughout his career, Skip has held various high-profile positions including CEO at Factor10x, VP of Product Management at Conga, Chief Product Officer at FTI Consulting, CEO of CoPresence Inc, Director of Innovation at The TAI Group, among others.

He has also been active in academia, serving as Affiliate Faculty in Human Centered Design and Engineering at the University of Washington, and as an Instructor at the Institute of Design.
