Sinmi Araoye is a dynamic individual committed to delivering top-notch customer service, managing projects from inception to execution, and creating compelling content. As a December 2021 Future Nursing Graduate, Araoye draws from diverse educational backgrounds, including studying MSc. Management and Marketing at Lancaster University, MSc. International Fashion Retailing, Business, Management, Marketing and Related Support Services with Merit at The University of Manchester, and a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Furthermore, she has delved into Literature/Writing, Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities at UC San Diego and gained practical experience while studying at Chaffey College.
Prior to her nursing studies, Araoye has held various entry and experienced-level roles spanning customer service, in-store education, brand management and marketing. Her former roles include US Census Enumerator at the US Census Bureau, Freelance at Self-Employed, Replenishment Buyer, Back-Up Payroll and Benefits Specialist, and In-Store Educator at Whole Foods Market, Marketing Alumnae at Startup Institute Boston, and Social Media Intern at 30/30 Media, to name a few.
Notwithstanding her professional and academic pursuits, Araoye volunteers much of her time in education and community outreach. She has served as a Writing Fellow at 9jEducation, been a Volunteer Teacher at O.A.A Grammar School, and held the position of Senior Student Library Associate at University of California San Diego Libraries.
