Who is Sina Simantob?

Sina Simantob is the founder of Highland City Club, an exclusive co-working community in Boulder, Colorado.1 He is an entrepreneur and innovator who has been working on the renovation, adaptive reuse, and addition of residences to the Highland School building since buying it in 1978.1

Simantob considers himself a temporary custodian of the Highland property, which he believes will outlast him and his grandchildren.1 He has made some controversial statements on the Highland City Club website, including discriminatory views about certain racial and ethnic groups.2
