Simone van der Weijden is a highly educated professional with a strong background in legal services.
She pursued her education extensively, studying LL.B. in Social Legal Services at Hogeschool Leiden, LL.B. in Dutch Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam, as well as LL.M. in Labour Law and European Law at Universiteit Leiden.
Simone has gained valuable experience working with reputable organizations such as BDO Nederland as Jr. juriste aanbestedingsrecht, AKD N.V. as an intern in EU regulatory and Competition Law, and DAS as a Juriste.
Additionally, she has served as a Schuman trainee at DG EXPO in the Secretariat of the Committee on International Trade at the European Parliament, as well as in various roles at the European Parliament including STC subcommittee member, Volunteer Dutch teacher, and Juriste.
Simone's professional journey also includes roles at SRK Rechtsbijstand, De Raadgevers, and Het Juridisch Loket as a Juriste and stagiaire.
Her diverse experiences in different legal domains have equipped her with a comprehensive skill set and a deep understanding of legal practices both in the Netherlands and at the European level.
