Simóne J. Banks is a writer, poet, and educator who previously worked as an English instructor at Louisiana State University (LSU).4 She earned her MFA in creative writing with a focus on poetry from LSU.4 Currently, Banks is an assistant professor of English at Albright College, where she joined in August 2022.12
