Simone de Wit

Simone de Wit is a social psychologist dedicated to addressing social and community issues, with a focus on fostering a caring and strong society. She is passionate about contributing to a world where compassion prevails over financial motives. As an impact specialist, Simone advises, supports, and trains organizations with a social mission to enhance and showcase their impact. Additionally, she volunteers as a language coach, aiding newcomers in learning the Dutch language.

Simone's educational background includes completing her VWO in Economics & Society at Da Vinci College, a Master's degree in Social Psychology from VU University Amsterdam, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and a Propedeuse HBO-V in Nursing Practice from Hogeschool van Amsterdam.

Professionally, Simone has held the role of Impact Specialist at Avance Impact, where she advises organizations on maximizing their societal impact. She has also served as a Language Coach at SOB Amsterdam/Stichting KOBA, a Stagiaire Impact-Consultant at Avance Impact, and a Trainee at Starters4Communities focusing on Impact Measurement. Previously, she conducted her Masterscriptie in Social Psychology on Environmental Behavior at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, worked as RTO Support Project Assistant at Ahold Delhaize, served as the Chair of FSR-FPP at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and worked as an Assistant Drogist at Etos.
