Simone Azeglio

Simone Azeglio is a Research Engineer at the Institut Pasteur, where he is involved in advanced research within the fields of neuroscience and machine learning. He has a background in physics and has previously held the position of Head of Student Representatives for the Physics of Complex Systems Master's program at the University of Turin, indicating his leadership and organizational skills in academic settings.

Azeglio has also been recognized for his contributions to computational neuroscience, notably receiving the Brains for Brains Award in 2022 from the Bernstein Network. His research interests include the application of machine learning techniques to brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) and neural networks, highlighting his focus on integrating technology with neuroscience to advance understanding and innovation in these areas.

He is currently pursuing his PhD at the Vision Institute in Paris, which is affiliated with Sorbonne Université and École Normale Supérieure, further solidifying his expertise in vision science and related fields.
