Simona Bosello is a seasoned global business executive with broad experience across North America, Europe, Africa, China, and India. She has a unique mix of professional experiences from early pipeline and portfolio strategy, R&D, BD&L, innovative and classic brand marketing strategy, launch and commercial execution in the pharmaceutical industry. With an MBA from MIB Trieste School of Management and an MSc in Global Public Health from Queen Mary University of London, Simona is a fast learner and self-motivated with a proven ability to manage cross-functional projects.
Simona's career at GSK started as Marketing and Sales Future Leader Program, and she grew to become the Global New Product and Portfolio Strategy Director, managing key accountable assets within GSK's pipeline. She was also the Regional Commercial Director, Innovative Portfolio, Emerging Market, China & India, and the Regional Franchise Market Leader, Africa & Asia Developing Country. Before joining GSK, Simona worked at Philip Morris International in several marketing and sales management roles and as a Foreign and Internal Affairs Intern at the Embassy of Italy.
Currently, Simona holds a top position at Novartis as the Global Business Executive Director, Malaria. She leads a team that creates and implements global strategies for accelerating innovation and access to anti-malaria therapies. Simona is also a healthcare no-profit advisor in developing countries, and she participated in the PULSE GSK Volunteer program for care.
