Simon J Smith is a highly experienced computer graphics veteran with over 39 years of experience in film, television, and post-production. Serving as a former Writer/Director at Unity Technologies and Feature Film Director at DreamWorks Animation, Smith's directing portfolio includes hit animated films such as "Penguins of Madagascar" and "Bee Movie" with combined box office earnings of over $660 million. He started as the Head of Layout (cameraman/cinematographer) for the first-ever animated Oscar-winning film "Shrek" and later directed short films, including "Far Far Away idol," starring Simon Cowell, and the Universal theme park ride "Shrek 4D." His latest contribution, "Baymax Dreams," a real-time short film for Disney TVA, won a 2019 Technical Emmy.
