Simon Pun: Developing Next-Gen 3D Printable Metals

Simon Pun is a highly skilled and accomplished materials engineer well-versed in developing fine-grained materials for aerospace and automotive applications. With a Master's degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with specialization in Materials Engineering from UC Irvine, he has extensive experience as the Materials Engineering Leader at Divergent 3D, and as the Materials and Process Engineer at Aerojet Rocketdyne.

Pun is a former Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at UC Irvine, a Visiting Research Fellow at UC Santa Barbara, and an R&D Contractor at 3M. He is passionate about developing next-generation, 3D printable metals and has made significant contributions to the field during his time at Divergent 3D as the Lead Engineer - Materials Science.
