I led all aspects of a $70M Sales and Distribution Company. H2 is the premiere destination for premium brands in the cycling space and works with nearly every channel catering to the cycling consumer in the US and Canada.Highway Two is comprised of 60 full time employees and 30 contract sales people across the US and Canada. H2 has three locations with a HQ in Orange County, CA and distribution facilities in Reno, NV and Olney, IL.

What I am most proud of during my tenure as the sales director was completely shifting the company culture inside the company and in the field. The H2 culture is now proud, fun and most importantly sales-focused, all with the same common goals in sight.Highlights:-Led a team of 55 people across inside sales, outside sales and marketing.-Increased total sales from $34M in 2013 to $50M plus in 2016-Rebuilt and reset expectations for an 8 person inside sales team:2013: $20,000 per day in average organic sales through 80 outgoing calls per day 2016: $60,000 per day in average organic sales through 240 outgoing calls per day. Put an inside sales manager in place to ensure this growth is sustainable.-Personally grew key accounts 60% / $7M through hyper focus and key account management. Built out a Key Account team to sustain and continue this growth through focus on e-commerce, big box and outdoor specialty channels. -Turned our dealing with <a href="http://Amazon.com">Amazon.com</a> from transaction-based to a lucrative partnership utilizing their marketing services and resources achieving 300% growth in three years. -Successfully implemented salaried Territory Manager positions in place of Independent reps in the five largest metro areas in turn producing a 15% higher annual growth rate than the independent territories. -Successfully launched three new brands to our portfolio (Kask helmets, Abus Mobile Security and Knog lights).-Rebuilt independent outside rep team to the best in the industry through partnering with the highest performing groups and ensuring we were the main focus in their portfolio.-Acknowledged as #10 on the 35 under 35 list by the leading industry magazine (Bicycle Retail and Industry News)

North American Sales Director

- Recruited, hired and trained a team of 10 remote sales people to build Gore's Active Apparel lines (Gore Bike Wear and Gore Running Wear) across the country in independent retailers.-Increased sales from $4M to $8M -Put into place key account management processes and teams with <a href="http://Amazon.com">Amazon.com</a>; REI; <a href="http://Backcountry.com">Backcountry.com</a>; LL Bean and other high growth potential accounts allowing them to grow over 20% annually.-Managed Canadian Distributor with all aspects of the business (Product Selection, Pricing, Logistic, Training, Key Account Sales). This effort yielded $1M in growth in 2 years.-Gore Fabrics Division activation lead for Siebel CRM implementation

- Personally opened the Midwest and Southwest sales territories for Gore's cycling and running clothing lines adding over 100 new accounts totaling $3 Million plus in annual sales revenue. -I covered 14 states by car and built my territory from the ground up with little to no training-I was ranked as the highest team contributor on the Gore Culture Annual Reviews six years in a row.

I toured with and managed different Mobile Experiential Marketing campaigns. The highlights were:-Being the pre-concert emcee / DJ / Hype man for the Tim McGraw and Faith Hill summer tour (55 cities) where I got on the microphone in front of nightly crowds of up to 5,000 people-Traveling to every major snowboard and skiing event in North America as the Tour Manager of the Gore-Tex Know What's Inside Tour-Was the spokesperson for Gore-Tex on 12 different local city morning news programs and many other great media opportunities.-Traveled with and managed multiple other tour teams as part of Verizon Wireless's summer programs.
