Senior Analyst and Analytics Team Lead (Platts)

• Relocated to US for family reasons and started up PIRA’s End-User Natural Gas Pricing Service.
• The service couples proprietary research, data collation, modelling and analysis with insight and expertise on the world’s different natural gas markets – all from the user’s perspective.
• The product was revenue generating by the end of year 1 and achieved annualized revenue of $1m+ by year three. 
• Utilized VBA/Python, Access/Excel for data capture and analysis. Word and PowerPoint for client deliverables.
• S&P Global acquired PIRA Energy Group in 2016.

Senior Analyst (PIRA)

•	Responsible for tracking and managing the £800m capital requirements for Over-the-Counter energy contracts.
•	Directed and supported the construction of econometric load and demand-based Excel models to monitor performance, optimize return and assess the risk of capital allocation while incorporated the ability to model the impact of future sales and product changes. 
•	Delivered the first division wide view on mark-to-market capital use and used stress testing to assess the VaR.
•	Produced new insight on customer behavior at contract renewal and margining conduct of trading partners when markets were in contango/backwardation. This steered policy change ensuring value protection of c. £100m.

Centrica - British Gas Business

Portfolio Manager

•	Managed the delivery of new products to the market while optimizing existing products and pricing strategies.
•	Delivered over £5m in revenue upside in 2006 and £7m+ per year from 2007 to 2009.
•	Specific actions included identifying and correcting legacy billing system pricing issues and delivering new and innovative propositions into our sales channels through price elasticity studies and product/pricing reviews.
•	Sat on pricing steering groups, drove and performed analysis, presented recommendations, and managed P/L impacts. Significant contribution to ensure the acquisition of two customer portfolios from failing smaller rivals.

Energy Product Manager

Led a tele-sales team responsible for selling gas and electricity contracts to small businesses. With a team of 40, we pioneered the sale of electricity contracts to our legacy gas base after deregulation in the UK.
