With his comprehensive knowledge of consulting, pre-sales, sales, and customer success, Simon has developed a unique insight into building and running successful SaaS companies. Simon is a digital transformation expert, who has worked across multiple verticals, focused on applying 'prospect to cash' technologies as business enablers.
Simon joined Mirakl to expand the business outside of its core geographies, with a focus on building a world-class pre-sales function. Mirakl is the global leader in online marketplace platforms and provider of Mirakl Marketplace Platform, a SaaS-based, secure, and highly scalable platform that allows brands to host transactions between buyers and sellers of products.
Before joining Mirakl, Simon played a crucial role in the phenomenal success of Zuora, the fastest-growing on-demand subscription billing, payment, and finance service in EMEA. Simon worked with the founding team of Zuora to create and shape the EMEA business based out of London in 2012. From an initial start of four employees, the customer base grew rapidly throughout the region, creating an EMEA business in excess of $50 million in 2018, and a $2 billion+ valuation of the company.
Simon studied Bachelor of Science (BSc), Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Surrey. Additionally, Simon has a wealth of experience, including being a former Cloud CRM Account Manager at Oracle, the former Principal CRM Sales Consultant at Oracle, the former Senior CRM Consultant in Professional Services at Oracle, the former Senior ERP Consultant at JBA International PLC, and the former Sales Information System Consultant at British Airways.
