Simon Chee, an accomplished automation system architect and engineer with over 25 years of experience in engineering, design, and installation of manufacturing execution systems, SCADA, renewable energy utility-scale SCADAs, and plant control systems in various industries ranging from renewable energy, engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, and utility scale solar, wind, and battery storage power plant installation. With a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo, Simon currently serves as the Vice President of SCADA Engineering at RRC Companies. Simon has held numerous positions, including Head of SCADA Engineering, Controls and Commissioning at Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc, Senior Global Manager at First Solar Inc, Senior Manager at Perot Systems Corporation, and Senior Engineer at SSOE Group. Over the years, he has managed and commissioned over 6 GW of renewable energy installation and has also provided project team motivation and leadership, developed team resources, and ensured quality contributions. He is best known for his broad background across industries experience, strong interpersonal skills, and his ability to work well under pressure in demanding environments.
