Simon Black, with a rich background in the legal field, spent 20 years as a Partner at Allen & Overy in Asia before transitioning to founding Lexical Labs, an innovative venture focused on leveraging technology for contract negotiations.
Driven by a desire to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies, Simon advocates for the integration of technology to automate repetitive tasks, allowing individuals to focus on creative thinking, decision-making, and motivating others.
Aside from legal tech, Simon Black possesses expertise in areas such as M&A, Financing, and Corporate Governance and holds a diverse educational background including a Law Finals degree from the College of Law, Guildford, an LLB in Law and Economics from Durham University, and various A Levels from Canford School.
Current professional roles include serving as the Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Lexical Labs. Previously, Simon held positions as an Investor and Non-Executive Director at Legatics, Investor and Consultant at Zenobe Energy Limited, and Partner at Allen & Overy. Additionally, he has valuable experience as a Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.
