Sidney Hantler is a highly experienced mathematician with over 35 years of professional experience. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from The University of Michigan Rackham Graduate School and has published research papers in mathematics, computer science, and engineering journals, as well as earned four United States patents.
Throughout his career, Sidney has held numerous positions in academia, teaching and tutoring mathematics and physics to high school and college students as an adjunct professor at SUNY Purchase, Fordham University, NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering, and Pace University. Additionally, he has worked in the private sector as a research staff member and manager at IBM Corporation, and founded and owned Westchester Math and Physics and Fairfield Math and Physics.
Sidney's areas of expertise include systems performance analysis, failure impact analysis, reliability theory, availability, complex analysis, stochastic processes, big data, and machine learning. He is particularly interested in mathematics research, with a focus on applied probability, queueing theory, and machine learning.
