He is a CA and CFA charter holder with a BCom in Accounting from the University of Ottawa.

Farid founded SmartCrowd, MENA's first regulated digital real estate platform, to make real estate accessible to the masses. His motivation stemmed from personal struggles when trying to invest in real estate after a decade of saving but finding that it required a significant portion of his wealth or financing, causing him to create a platform that leveled the playing field between "HAVES" and "Not HAVES." Farid's passion, perseverance, and patience have garnered recognition through awards, grants, and external funding, making him the first regulated platform to create a digital real estate investment platform that unlocks real estate for everyday investors.
