Shwetank Bhatnagar is an accomplished finance professional with a decade of experience in Emerging Markets. He is currently the Director of Asian FX Trading at Standard Chartered Bank, where he specializes in Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDFs). Bhatnagar previously dedicated seven years to Emerging Markets Foreign Exchange (EM FX) Options with responsibilities for the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEEMEA), Asia and Latin America regions.

Bhatnagar is passionate about analytical challenges and has developed a strong interest and expertise in various programming languages such as Python, R, and Haskell. These abilities, combined with his keen analytical and creative thinking capabilities, have helped him build models and tools that are widely used by Standard Chartered's internal and external stakeholders.

Prior to his career in Finance, Bhatnagar worked in Private Equity, Investment Banking, and Corporate Banking teams in Mumbai, Singapore, and Johannesburg. His notable accomplishments include being awarded the National Balshree Honour by the Indian President for his analytical and creative thinking capabilities and heading the Students' Affairs Council of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) as its General Secretary.

Bhatnagar holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, and an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
