Shu Chin Ma

Shu Chin is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in project management, entrepreneurship, and biomedical engineering. She is a globally registered PRINCE2 Project Management practitioner and has extensive experience in market research and business plan development. She has a Ph.D. and an M.Phil in biomedical engineering from Yale University, as well as an MSc in chemical and materials engineering from Cornell University. She has also studied at the University of California, San Diego, Uppsala University, and the University of Auckland. Shu Chin has a passion for the application of nanotechnology in medical fields, specifically in non-viral, polymer-based gene and drug delivery. She has done extensive research in Parkinson's disease and RNAi technology, conducting both in vitro and in vivo experimentation and pre-clinical studies. Shu Chin's professional experience includes roles as the Director of Pharmacometrics at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Associate Director at Certara Strategic Consulting at Certara, and Reviewer at FDA/OGD. She has also served as a lecturer at Auckland University of Technology and a consultant at Auckland UniServices and CSL. Shu Chin's leadership skills were honed while acting as the COO of Nova Eco-Tech and co-founder & co-director of GTR Design Solutions.
